Terrace moves in Westtown
Westtown is the housing immediately west of Dewsbury centre, a mix of terraces and family streets between the ring road and Dewsbury Moor. Most moves are short, and the street is the tricky part.

Terraces just west of the centre
Westtown is the buffer between Dewsbury Town Centre and Dewsbury Moor. Terraces, some flats and shared houses are typical. Flat removals fits an upper floor. A whole house is house removals. Students changing rooms use student removals or man and van.
You are close to the station and the bus station, which is useful after you move and awkward on the day if your street is a cut-through. Tell us about permit bays and school zig-zags. A photo of the frontage is better than a long description of “it’s a bit tight”.
Ravensthorpe continues west, where the station is closed until 2028. Savile Town is the southern neighbour. Crow Nest Park is the green space just beyond the Moor, not a park in the middle of Westtown itself.
Short moves
Many Westtown jobs are people moving a mile or two inside Dewsbury. If the load is part of a home, call it a local move. If every room is going, we plan it as a house. Packing is optional.

Is Westtown in the town centre?
It is in Dewsbury, just west of the centre. Parking is residential rather than market-day loading bays.

Dewsbury railway station on Wellington Road. Westtown does not have its own platform.
