The park and the houses around it
Dewsbury Moor is where Crow Nest Park sits on Heckmondwike Road. Kirklees describes it as one of the larger parks in north Kirklees, with a playground, lawns and a lake, about a mile from the town centre. The houses around it are the moves we do: terraces and family homes, not a town-centre flat above a shop. House removals is the full service. Furniture removals covers a heavy room. A smaller load is man and van.
Heckmondwike Road itself can be busy. Side streets fill with residents’ cars. If you live on the park edge, say so, because an event day changes where we can stop. The old museum building in the park is not a working museum to plan a visit around. The green space is the reason people like the address.
Westtown and Ravensthorpe are the neighbours, with Whitley further toward the valley. Dewsbury Town Centre is the short trip the other way, to the market and the station.
Practical points
Tell us about a loft and any garden furniture. Packing helps if the kitchen is still in use. A local move is the right label if you are only shifting part of the house a short distance.
