Across the boundary from Dewsbury
Ossett is a separate town in the Wakefield district, a few miles from Dewsbury via Shaw Cross and Chickenley. The move is still one our Dewsbury team does. The paperwork changes: council tax, bins and school admissions are Wakefield Council’s. If you are leaving a Kirklees address, close that account as well as opening the new one.
House removals covers a full Ossett home. A smaller load is a local move. There is no station in the town. People who commute by train use Dewsbury station and travel in by bus or car. Mention if the house is on a steep street near the centre or on a newer estate with a tight turning head.
Earlsheaton and Hanging Heaton are the other Dewsbury-side neighbourhoods on this run. We do not treat Ossett as a Kirklees suburb. The quote is for the journey and the houses, and the council links above are there so you set up the right accounts.
Call 01924729860. Packing and furniture removals can be added. Dewsbury removals is the company home.
